Matthew is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey, with 12 years of experience in providing direct care and administration of mental health services. His extensive experience in delivering mental health services spans all levels of care, from acute, high-risk inpatient psychiatric settings and partial hospitalization, to lower-risk community support services and private practice. Additionally, Matthew has served in high-level administration roles, providing clinical supervision and multiple department oversight for a premier urban hospital within the largest healthcare system in New Jersey.

Primarily rooted in Existential, Narrative, and Person-Centered modalities, Matthew applies a wide range of related and synergetic principles in his approach to therapy, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy, with consideration to the frameworks of social and ecological systems theory.
